An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced Project Manager for the newly awarded DECaDE: Centre for the Decentralized Digital Economy, led by the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) at the University of Surrey in partnership with the University of Edinburgh and the Digital Catapult.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the activities of the newly awarded DECaDE research centre exploring the potential for decentralized platform to disrupt the Digital Economy. With over £10M investment (£4M from UKRI/EPSRC and £6M industrial contribution), DECaDE aims to transform the emerging future economy into one that is fair, with appropriate governance, maximising opportunities for everyone to create value. DECaDE builds upon world-leading expertise at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) within CVSSP.

As a key relationship manager, you will be directly responsible for ensuring effective management of the DECaDE project. You will possess the ability to think/work proactively and be able to demonstrate an expert project management background. Taking informed and timely approaches to issues and processing information appropriately, often within tight deadlines are key for this role.
